(MENAFN) Suez Canal showed that 281 ships crossed the canal, with a total load of 15.8mn tons, from 26 November to 1 December.
Furthermore, an average of 46.83 ships transited the canal per day amid that period, with an average load of 2.63mn tons per day.
Meanwhile, the number of vessels that passed coming from the west through the northern entrance reached 134 vessels, with a daily average of 22.33 vessels.
On the other hand, 147 ships transited the new channel coming from the south, with a daily average of 24.5 vessels and a total load of 8.6mn tons.
