(MENAFN) Sultan of Oman has purchased a mansion worth USD26 million from John Terry, a professional football for English Premier League side Chelsea, according to Arabian Business.
The mansion in Surrey, which includes 9 bedrooms, was sold by General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Naamani, a senior minister in the Gulf state’s government.
A source told Arabian Business: “We’re told the Omani royal family wanted the house at any cost. John Terry loved that place and really put his stamp on it. The Sultan made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.”
