(MENAFN) Swissotel Hotels and Resorts unveiled plans to construct a second luxury property in the Middle East, as it seeks to benefit from the growing travel and tourism sector in the region, reported Arabian Business.
The group said it will build the Swissotel Jadaf Dubai in the emirate of Dubai, and is scheduled to open in 2016.
Swissotel is partnering with Aabar Properties, a real estate development, management and investment company on the project.
The planned 280-key hotel will be the second, after opening the first one in the holy city of Makkah.
The new hotel will be built in a mixed use development comprising three hotels, residences, serviced apartments, retail & entertainment facilities.
It will also feature an all-day dining restaurant, three speciality restaurants, a Purovel Spa and meeting, conference and ballroom facilities.”
