(MENAFN) A number of Taiwanese companies have shown their interest in making deals with Saudi counterparts, according to Arab News.
The announcement was revealed in a visit of an 18-member Taiwanese trade delegation to Saudi Arabia who met with top Saudi government and business leaders on Wednesday night.
Abdulrahman Al-Jeraisy, chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), said Taiwan has long-standing bilateral ties with the Kingdom, with many Taiwanese products sold locally.
Al-Jeraisy also commended the delegation for seeking deals in the power industry, saying: “You’ve come at a time when the Saudi economy is booming. There are many projects in the power sector that have been undertaken. In this connection, you’ve come a bit late.”
