Technical difficulties delay oil exports in Iraq

(MENAFN) Iraq’s South Oil Company (SOC) said that technical issues were behind the delay in oil exports from Iraq’s new offshore oil export terminal, reported Reuters.

SOC said that these technical difficulties led to the loading of one tanker only last week.

SOC elaborated saying they had problems in the control system of the terminal and some valves also need to be fixed.
