(MENAFN) Orange, the French telecom operator, is presently eying a growth of 5 percent in its Africa and Middle East operations over the upcoming 3 years, according to the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, Arabian Business reported.
In hopes of increasing the operating profit even more than the sales growth, according to the CFO, Orange will set up multiple expansion schemes across the region.
The company now sees Africa and the Middle East as its prime and most yielding marketplace after selling its telecom operations in Britain and Switzerland.
“We do not prejudge what we will do with the benefits of this legal structure. So what are we doing is creating conditions for taking opportunities when they arise,” the CFO said.
