(MENAFN) The Gulf region is targeted by Minor International, a giant Thai hotel group, for new hotels and resorts as the group intends to expand and increase its projects in the Middle East region, Arabian Business reported.
The company plans for expansion focus on Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as William E Heinecke, chairman and CEO of the group, referred to Abu Dhabi as “the capital of high level tourism in the region and the whole world”, Followed by other projects in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
The Thai Minor International runs around 91 hotels and 45 spas around the globe, and it is looking to set 50 new properties in the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific region by 2015.
