(MENAFN) The Tarfaya wind farm, the Noor solar plant complex in Ourzazate and the Wessal Casablanca Port project are the most important enterprises that marked Africa’s economy this year.
Furthermore, the Tarfaya is one of Morocco’s most motivated projects concerning green energy, which consists of 131 wind turbines with capability of 300 megawatts, costing USD 493.3mn.
The Noor project will use a highly progressed technology called Concentrating Solar Power (CSP), which permits to store energy for nights and cloudy days.
The third project; solar plant will be organized by the Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy (MASEN), covering an area of over 450 hectares, costing USD 657.7mn.
