(MENAFN) Etihad Airways and Tourism Malaysia signed a USD2.5 million collaboration-and-partnership deal to help in solidifying cooperative efforts in the tourism sector, Gulf News reported.
The new-forged agreement is set up to help in launching new marketing and advertising campaigns in the Middle East, Europe, UK and US to bring up Malaysia as a prime tourist attraction.
The deal comes in a crucial time where Malaysia’s tourism reputation is being constantly discredited for the two air disasters that occurred last year involving the country’s national carrier Malaysia Airlines.
