(MENAFN) A recent report by TRI Hospitality Consulting found that occupancy rates at Dubai’s hotels grew by 4.2 percent in January from a year ago, reaching an average of 89.6 percent, Arabian Business reported.
The HotStats MENA report, which collates occupancy across four and five-star properties, said that that average room rates in Gulf emirate rose 5 percent to USD359.39.

TRI noted that it is normal to see a rise in the number of guests staying in Dubai’s hotels in January due to the annual Dubai Shopping Festival.
