Tunisia gains billion-dollar of helps to boost economy

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia, Qatar and France have vowed more than a billion dollars in financial support for Tunisia in order to revive the country”s economy.

However, Tunisia faces exceptional circumstances and needs support, while Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani pledged USD1.25bn.

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia’s state development fund will give Tunisia USD800mn in loans and aid.

Meanwhile, the French Development Agency (AFD) would also invest at least USD265mn every year in the country.
