(MENAFN) The Tunisian Ministry of Commerce and Handicrafts said that it has signed eight agreements with Iran’s Ministry of Industries Mines and Trade Ministry in the fields of banking, industries and mines, water, oil, gas, petrochemicals, sanitation and agriculture, Iran Daily reported.
The Ministry said that these agreements pave the way for Iran and Tunisia, which have numerous cultural, historical and religious commonalities, for increasing trade transactions between the two countries.
The Ministry added that a memorandum of understanding was also signed for increasing cooperation in the fields of investment, economic and technical issues, customs, handicrafts and establishment of a joint investment fund.
