Tunisia’s foreign direct investments hit USD206m in Q1

(MENAFN) Tunisia’s foreign direct investments (FDI) reached USD206 million in the first quarter of the year, marking an increase by 24 percent year-on-year, Reuters reported.

The actual numbers were issued by the government on Monday in addition to the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency. The increase is attributed to the country’s success in most sectors.

Nonetheless, the sector of manufacturing and industry attracted most of foreign investments; the services sector was second best in the number of attracted investments.
