(MENAFN) A Turkish furniture delegation is in Qatar to establish partnership with local companies, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
The head of the delegation said that they received a positive response from Qatari businessmen in the first day of the two-day bilateral (B2B) meeting.
President of MODEF said: “Currently the penetration of Turkish furniture industry is very limited in Qatar. We are here to enhance our presence in the market.”
Furniture companies in Turkey make a variety of products that include home, office and school furniture. Around 25 percent of the USD6 billion furniture production in Turkey is exported.
