(MENAFN) Air Arabia’s CEO, Adel Ali, announced that in July, the carrier’s passenger traffic rose 10 percent from last year’s same period to a total of 477,839 passengers, reported Arab News.
Ali said that the carrier’s seat load factor was at 85 percent, driven by higher demand for the company’s services.
He added that the airline, which launched the Taif and Salalah routes in the 6-month period, posted a jump of more than 15 percent in the number of passengers in the second quarter, reaching 1.3 million passengers.
It is worth noting that Air Arabia’s net profit grew 31 percent in the second quarter to USD17.96 million.
