(MENAFN) Sharjah-based Air Arabia announced that during the first quarter, passenger traffic jumped by 17.5 percent from a year before, reported Xinhua News.
The low-cost carrier added that the number of passengers in the January-March period reached a total of 1,445,783, the highest on quarterly basis in nearly 8 years.
The Middle East’s biggest and oldest low-budget airliner stated that it received 2 new Airbus A320 planes in the 3-month period.
It is worth noting that Air Arabia’s network covers 85 destinations, mainly in the Middle East.
