(MENAFN) Data by the UAE National Bureau of Statistics show that annual inflation in the country increased to 1.8 percent last month, Xinhua reported.
The bureau said that the figure, increasing from 1.5 percent in January, represents the highest since October 2010.
Housing and utility costs increased 2 percent from February last year, logging the fastest pace since April 2009.
Prices of food and soft drinks surged 2.7 percent year-on-year, decreased 0.3 percent when compared to the month before it.
