UAE- Arabtec posts USD27.1m in Q1 profit

(MENAFN) Arabtec Holding CEO, Hasan Abdullah Ismaik, said that the company’s first quarter profit was USD27.1 million, reported Gulf News.

He added that Arabtec has signed contracts with Louvre AbuDhabi and the Fairmont hotel, which has upped revenue 20 percent to a total of USD421.9 million.

Operations in Saudi Arabia are continually growing, as the construction firm has taken on a 5,000 villa project in Al Hasa.

It is worth noting that the construction industry in the Middle East is picking up again, as companies such as Arabtec keep acquiring project in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar.
