(MENAFN) Dewan Architects & Engineers’ executive director, Ammar Al Assam, announced that the company has won a Saudi contract to design the Al Bayt 57 development, reported Arabian Business.
Al Assam said that the mixed-use development, based in Al-Khobar, comprises 9 22-storey towers that include a branded 5-star hotel and 1,500 luxury 2, 3, 4-bedroom and penthouse apartment units.
He added that the development, which would also include a grade A commercial office space and a Galleria retail mall, will rest atop a 2-storey podium and a basement which can have room for 2,500 cars and other amenities including driver-rooms, storage areas and service corridors for the mall and hotel.
The project, the latest by developer Al Bayt, is expected to complete in 2015.
It is worth noting that UAE-based Dewan has offices in the UAE, Saudi, Iraq, Qatar, India and the Philippines.
