UAE- Dnata cargo operations up 59% at DWC

(MENAFN) UAE’s Dnata said that during October, the company’s cargo operations at Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) surged by 59 percent, reported Emirates 24/7.

The company added that also during the month, the number of aircraft movements at DWC jumped 33 percent from September reaching 280 movements.

It also said that FreightGate-8-, the company’s operated air cargo terminal, handled 11,737 tons of cargo, recording the largest volume handled since 2010, when the airport launched its operations.

It is worth noting that Dnata’s cargo terminal facility includes 1,000 square meters of chiller and freezer storage space for fresh goods and storage rooms for all types of special cargo.
