(MENAFN) Du’s chief commercial officer, Farid Faraidooni, announced that starting July, the carrier will introduce the UAE’s fastest available 4G broadband service, at 100mbps, reported Gulf News.
Faraidooni added that what matters to consumers is how fast and how easy the broadband connection is, especially that uploading from social network sites, including Facebook and YouTube, is growing notably.
He said that if there were devices on the market; du would have introduced the service before, as it was ready to deploy the 4G LTE since December 2011.
It is worth noting that at the current time, Du covers 27.8 percent of the UAE’s population, and 35.3 percent of urban areas.
