(MENAFN) According to the UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF), the country’s federal government collected around USD1.08 billion in revenue through the e-Dirham system in the first half of the year.
The figure represented an 11 percent growth compared to USD980.1 million on-year. The total number of e-services presented rose 9 percent to 18.7 million from 17 million in the first half a year ago.
“The increase in the number of transactions by e-Dirham reflects the development of the system during the previous years,” assistant undersecretary of resources and budget sector at the MoF said.
