UAE, Egypt sign housing project to build 50.061 units

(MENAFN) The United Arab Emirates and the Egyptian Ministry of Housing signed a new housing strategy that is set to construct 50.061 residential units in Egypt, Amwal Alghad reported.

The new protocol was signed by Egypt’s Housing Minister and the UAE’s Minister of State in a meeting that was held in the attendance of the Egyptian Prime Minister.

The new protocol comes under the umbrella of the Egyptian government’s social housing development scheme, which aims at building 1 million homes for low-income citizens.

The housing units are set to be located in Cairo Badr City, Alexandria Borg El Arab, Port Said El Raswa, Suez Ataqa, Qalyubia Khanka and Shoubra Elkhiema, and many more.
