(MENAFN) Through a meeting held between the UAE’s Minister of Economy and Iran’s Ambassador to the country, the two countries are looking for new means for bolstering the bilateral economic ties, Arabian Business reported.
The meeting is dedicated to expand business and economic cooperation between the UAE and Iran, which stands as the fourth major trade contributor for the Gulf country with USD17 billion non-oil trade recorded last year.
In addition, the two countries are looking for viable measures to boost collaboration in civil aviation, which weekly entertains more than 200 flights between the two sides.
