UAE- Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism sector beats target

05 Feb 2012

(MENAFN) Ras Al Khaimah’s Tourism Investment and Development Authority (TIDA) proudly reported that the emirate crossed its target of 800,000 tourists last year, reported Arabian Business.

TIDA cited the forty percent year-on-year growth in tourism to the hike in the number of tourists coming form Germany in 2011.

The emirate’s tourism revenues hit USD108 million, added TIDDA.

It is worth mentioning that TIDA was established in May of 2011, in a bid to enhance the emirate’s tourism sector.
