(MENAFN) India is forecasted to surpass Japan as the top export destination of the UAE by the year 2030, according to the latest reports.
Japan and India stood at 11 percent and 6 percent respectively in terms of share exports share, and Japan remains an important trade partner for the UAE.
However, Japan’s dominance as the top export destination will be gradually and progressively battered as exporters seek more non-oil opportunities.
India’s rapid pace of economic growth drives a move to the top export destination, plus the longstanding commercial links with UAE support this.
