UAE- Sharjah non-oil foreign trade hikes 32%

(MENAFN) The Department of Seaports and Customs in Sharjah announced that non-oil foreign trade at all f the emirate’s ports went up by eleven percent last year, hitting USD24 billion, reported Emirates 24/7.

The department said that the imports hiked by 24 percent, hitting USD14 billion, compared to USD11.2 billion reported back in 2010.

Moreover, exports also hiked 35 percent in the corresponding period up by USD0.5 billion in 2010 against USD0.6 billion in 2011.
