(MENAFN) UAE Residents’ spending on healthcare industry is expected to boost by over 10 percent in 2014 reaching USD18 billion, according to the Emirates 24/7.
Business Monitor International (BMI) said spending on healthcare by UAE residents totaled USD16Ù«33 billion in 2014.
BMI said: “UAE’s increasing investment from public and private sectors in its healthcare industry is set to bring improved standards of care and increased access to medicines, as well as making it a more appealing destination for medical tourists.”
