UAE to build 200 MW solar power plant
09 Sep 2016
(MENAFN) The Federal Elect and Water Authority will build a solar plant with capacity in order to generate 200 MW of energy and upgrade power grids by 2025.
Meanwhile, the government spent AED2.7bn to develop water and electricity services in its areas in the last three years.
In addition, 23 power plants were constructed, 34 current plants were upgraded and 375 kilometers of water supply systems were applied.
Moreover, the federal authority is developing a strategic plan to upgrade its supply systems and power grids by 2025.
