UAE to cut oil’s role in GDP to 20pct by 2021

(MENAFN) The UAE, in line with the country’s Vision 2021 and economic diversification plan has cut reliance on oil to 30 percent of the GDP in just four decades.

Despite oil is important, it shall not surpass contribution of more than 20 percent of GDP by 2021.

Moreover, the country aims to boost and promote ties, collaboration and exchange of ideas and experiences.

The country’s economy has experienced fast developments as result of economic diversification and sustainable development of all sectors.
