(MENAFN) The United Arab Emirates is presently looking towards raising the usage of smart services up to 80 percent in most of the country’s official departments, according to the Minister of Economy, Gulf News reported.
The goal comes in after the UAE Insurance Authority (IA), Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) and the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), all announced achieving a 100 percent shift to electronic services.
The Minister’s decision came right after reviewing the results of a recent report by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) on the smart transition of federal agencies and affiliated departments to Electronic Services.
