UAE to launch region’s first Waldorf Astoria hotel

(MENAFN) UAE’s Al Hamra Group’s general manager, Benoy Kurien, announced that during next-year’s first quarter, Ras Al Khaimah will launch a Waldorf Astoria hotel, the first in the region, reported Gulf News.

Kurien added that the 349-rooms property, which is being developed by Al Hamra Group, is part of Al Hamra Village, and will have access to a 600m private beach, 3 outdoor swimming pools, in addition to 8 restaurants and lounges.

On the other hand, he said that Al Hamra Village spans over an area of 2.5 million square meters, comprising 1.5km of beaches, 1,000 villas and townhouses, 2,500 residential apartments, 2 hotels and 3 resorts.

It is worth noting that Hilton Worldwide will operate Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah.
