UAE- USD14.77m net profits for RAK Ceramics during Q1

(MENAFN) RAK Ceramics, a worldwide ceramic manufacturer, announced that its net profits rose 9 percent to USD14.77 million in the first three months of 2013, reported Gulf News.
The company supplies over 160 countries around the world with ceramic tiles, tableware and bath ware, but mostly it concentrates on local and GCC markets.
15 percent sales up in the UAE, and 10 percent total sales in the GCC compared to last year’s rates were witnessed in the quarter, according to Abdullah Massaad, CEO of RAK Ceramics.
The company’s facilities are being improved, with a new technology to be added by the end of the current year.
