(MENAFN) The UAE’s Energy Minister, Mohammed bin Dhaen Al Hamili, stated that the country’s oil output stands at 2.6 million barrels per day (bpd) at the current time, reported Emirates 24/7.
Al Hamili said that the UAE plans to boost its output as it has the capacity to do so.
Nevertheless, he noted that the oil exporter would increase production only if the market required that.
It is worth noting that the UAE targets a production of 3 million bpd of oil for 2013.
