UAE’s Depa wins USD83m contracts

(MENAFN) Depa Ltd, on interior contracting companies, has been awarded USD82.74 million-worth contracts in Asia and Europe, according to the Emirates 24/7.

Design Studio Group, Depa’s Asian-based subsidiary and Singapore’s leading premier furniture manufacturer, product and interior fitting-out specialist, won a contract worth USD59.88 million from the Singapore-based OUE Limited, a real estate owner, developer and operator, to renew the lower and middle level floors OUE Downtown 1 from offices to serviced apartments.

Vedder, the company’s Europe-based yacht interior contracting specialist signed a USD22.86 million contract with Amels shipyard in the Netherlands. Vedder will undertake the fit-out of the guest-areas and owners cabin of a luxurious yacht.

The overall interior size is 970 square meters and has seven guest cabins with bathrooms, two lounges, a beach club with spa and a library. The project is scheduled to be completed by August 2016.
