(MENAFN) Etihad Airways’ President and CEO, James Hogan, said that the carrier expanded its codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines, through adding 3 French destinations, reported Emirates 24/7.
Hogan added that the new movement would strengthen the company’s presence in Europe and enable passengers from several points on Brussels Airlines network to travel to Abu Dhabi.
He also said that now, the codeshare expansion would include Lyon, Marseille and Toulouse, in addition to Brussels Airlines’ services to Barcelona, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Madrid, Oslo and Stockholm.
It is worth noting that Etihad inked a partnership agreement with Belgium’s Brussels Airlines in 2006.
