(MENAFN) Emirates Telecommunications Corp (Etisalat) announced that it has presented an offer to acquire Vivendi Group’s 53-percent stake in Maroc Telecom, reported Emirates 24/7.
The UAE telecom operator added that the offer takes into account the outcomes of the due diligence exercise that was recently finished.
Furthermore, the offer will be obligatory until the end of the second business day following the endorsement of the company’s extraordinary general meeting.
It is worth noting that French Vivendi’s stake in Itissalat Al- Maghrib supposedly has a market value of USD5.9 billion.
