UAE’s German imports in 2012 at USD12.91b

(MENAFN) Federation of the GCC chambers of commerce and industry
(FGCCI) Chairman Khalil Khanji stated that the UAE imports from Germany stood at USD12.91 billion last year, reported Emirates 24/7.
Khanji also said that total Arab imports from the European country were
USD44.53 billion in 2012. The UAE ranked firs in terms of highest
imports, Saudi came in second.
The Chairman added that Arab exports to Germany peaked at around
USD20.21 billion in the same year.
It is worth noting that two-way trade between the Arab countries and Germany rose 22 percent in 2012 to around USD64.75 billion.
