(MENAFN) UAE retail giant Majid Al Futtaim said it plans to build a 1 million square foot shopping mall in Dubai’s International Media Production Zone (IMPZ), according to Arabian Business.
The new mall, which is a part of USD81 million-worth projects, will be built in phases and is expected to be completed in 2015.
MAF Properties CEO George Kostas said that the development underscored demand for “quality retail space” in Dubai.
It was also the first mall in Dubai under MAF’s community centers strategy, the most recent of which was a MAF City Centre launched in Sharjah last month.
