(MENAFN) Majid Al Futtaim Group has opened a fashion district worth USD27.21 million at the Mall of the Emirates, according to Arab News.
The new fashion district is part of the mall’s development plan which may cost about USD272 million.
The plan is expected to be completed by the end of 2015.
Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, senior director of property management, Shopping Malls for Majid Al Futtaim, said: “We receive a huge number of visitors and customers from the Kingdom, especially during holidays. During the DSF (Dubai Shopping Festival) time we had to extend our working hours to midnight due to the influx of visitors from Saudi Arabia.”
He added: “In the future, we have more plans in store for visitors from Saudi Arabia. They are potential buyers also.”
