(MENAFN) Dubai’s Meraas Holding Company and the Chinese Alibaba are planning to create a new joint venture to provide technological service for firms in the region, Arabian Business reported.
Meraas additionally has another plan in the lineup; it involves creating a technological community that includes data center, hospitality, housing and commercial spaces, retail and food & beverage units.
Nonetheless, the new joint venture will be all about app development, service architecture, testing, validation, citizenship e-services and other data setups.
“The company will offer services that contribute to the six key pillars including transport, communications, infrastructure, electricity, economic services and urban planning.” A chief investment officer said.
