04 Nov 2013

(MENAFN) British airport aviation companies are in a visit to Saudi Arabia, the British Consulate-General in Jeddah said in a statement.

The companies will learn about current and future airport developments in the Kingdom, they will also discuss their products and services with Saudi airport and aviation specialists in Jeddah and Riyadh, according to Saudi Gazette.

The UK was one of the first countries to liberalize and commercialize its airports, hence British airports are self-sufficient business enterprises which have become major contributors to the economic well-being of their respective regions. The British companies’ expertise has been honed in this domestic environment as well as across many overseas markets.

The visiting enterprises contain companies with expertise in the master planning and design of terminal buildings around the world. They also include companies which are world class specialist equipment suppliers both for airfield and terminal operations, with products in use in over 170 of the world’s top airports.
