(MENAFN) Millennium and Copthorne Middle East and Africa (MEA) plans to launch 20 new hotels in Saudi Arabia as part of its plan to operate 50 properties by 2017, according to Arab News.
The hotel group will distribute its hotels’ projects in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and Jeddah, as well as important second tier cities such as Hail, Jazan, Tabuk and Baha.
Ali Hamad Lakhraim Alzaabi, president and CEO, Millennium and Copthorne Middle East, said: “The market opportunity within the Kingdom has increased through growing domestic travel, a short supply of midscale hotels, five-star hotels in second-tier cities, especially for corporate travelers and the significant and sustained growth of religious tourism.”
