(MENAFN) UK’s Moorfields Eye Hospital CEO, John Pelly, announced that the ophthalmology center mulls opening a surgical facility in Abu Dhabi, reported Arabian Business.
Pelly added that the clinic already has a branch in Dubai, and it may also expand in Sharjah.
He added that at the current time, the company is in negotiations to expand its brand in the UAE capital, where it has a presence at the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, through providing the ophthalmic care to the diabetic patients.
The CEO also said that Moorfields is in discussions to team up with University Hospital Sharjah.
It is worth noting that Moorfields, which in 2006 launched its first overseas branch in Dubai, is one of the world’s oldest and largest centers for ophthalmic treatment and teaching.
