(MENAFN) The Saudi labour minister said that local national unemployment rate fell from 11.7 percent to 12.4 percent during the third quarter due to the Nitaqat program, Arabian Business reported.
The number of Saudi men out of work had dropped to 6.1 percent, while 33.2 percent of women were unemployed.
The minister said: “The number of Saudis receiving salaries less than SR3,000 has been reduced from 356,806 to 109,654.”
