(MENAFN) A research showed that 56 percent, excluding non-Arab expatriates, are unemployed in the Middle East and North Africa, according to Arabian Business.
The majority of the unemployed workforce in the region is made up of women and young people, and most choose unemployment.
The report says: “Many people in the region, especially women, voluntarily choose not to work, reducing the number of people who are even interested in full-time employment.”
