(MENAFN) The US State Department spokeswoman, Victoria Nuland, stated that her country is giving a further USD155 million humanitarian aid to Syrians affected by the ongoing conflict, reported Xinhua News.
Nuland said that the amount will be distributed to Syrians in the country and those who took refuge in neighboring states.
Last week, the US also announced a USD10-million aid to provide the 210,000 people in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo with daily food supplies.
It is worth noting that so far, the US has provided Syria with around USD365 million aid.
