(MENAFN) The US trade surplus with Qatar for the Jan-May period of this year jumped to USD2.56bn, viewing a triple-digit growth compared with last year.
Moreover, the US trade balance with Qatar for the cited period increased by 117.5 percent, compared to USD1.18bn posted amid the same period last year.
Additionally, the bilateral trade volume between both sides from Jan to May this year reached USD3.65bn, up 40.39 percent compared with USD2.61bn last year.
Accordingly, the whole volume of mutual trade between the US and Qatar surpassed USD5bn in 2015, and showed a 40 percent grow this year.
