(MENAFN) SanDisk’s Middle East and Africa Sales Director, Tareq Husseini, stated that the company inked a partnership deal with Souq Technology International to expand its presence in the Omani market, reported The Times of Oman.
Husseini said that the deal makes Souq Technology the first authorized distributor of SanDisk’s products in the Sultanate, adding that this will guarantee a wider marketing for the entire range of the US firm’s storage products as Souq will distribute them to more than 500 retailers in Oman.
Demand for electronics in the country is growing steadily, boosted by new technologies and the increasing popularity of digital lifestyle products.
It is worth noting that Oman’s electronic market is expected to grow to USD635 million in 2015 from USD521 million.
