(MENAFN) The visiting Kuwait Director General of Partnerships Technical Bureau (PTB), Adel Al-Roumi, said that there are six huge projects, totaling USD three billions, that will be up for bidding soon.
Al-Roumi made the remarks to KUNA on sidelines of Kuwait Investment Awareness Conference 2015, which concluded late on Tuesday.
He added that these projects include two power generation stations and one solid waste recycle plant – to be one of the biggest installations in the Middle East.
PTB Chief added the recycle waste project will be launched in Om Al-Ramal area, at a cost of USD 350 million, noting that there are plans to build 16 schools and investors will be allowed to manage them for 25 years.
